Since 2018, Kevin has administered a variety of trusts, including family living and special need trusts, and estates throughout the United States. 

He became a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary in 2022. From 2006 to 2012 (Active Duty) and 2012 to 2022 (Reserve Duty), Kevin served as a chaplain in the United States Navy where he helped sailors and Marines in naval aviation, a submarine squadron, special operations, as well as soldiers and airmen advance their careers and work through issues such as infidelity, criminality, and abuse. He advised senior leaders on issues including ethics, morale, administration, and readiness. 

His last position was as the Command Chaplain for a SEAL team. Prior to joining the navy, Kevin founded and ran Bemel Management Co., a commercial real estate firm, for 20 years. During that time his company managed, consulted on, and brokered over $1 billion of industrial, retail, hospitality, gaming, and residential income property. 

He was the prime real estate service provider to Jewish Family Services Conservatorship Program and handled many estate and trust matters. Concurrent with running his real estate business, Kevin managed emerging writers and handled the business affairs of writers and producers.
